Good faith estimates

Clear information about the expected cost of care.

Clients who are uninsured or who choose not to use insurance may request a written estimate of the expected charges for therapy services.

Florida

For clients receiving care in Florida

Federal law generally gives uninsured and self-pay clients the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate after scheduling care or upon request. The estimate explains the expected charges for the services reasonably anticipated at that time.

Ohio

For clients receiving care in Ohio

Federal Good Faith Estimate protections also apply. Ohio law additionally requires covered health-care providers, including professionals licensed under Chapter 4757, to provide a written reasonable estimate before non-emergency services.

An estimate is not a contract and may change if your treatment needs change. If a bill is substantially higher than the estimate, federal patient-provider dispute options may be available. Contact billing@moderntherapycolumbus.com to request an estimate or ask a billing question.
